Fact 1: It takes 10 sq ft to cover 1 person seated at a table under the tent. Example: 100 people x 10 sq ft = 1000 sq ft tent.

Fact 2: You should figure at least 2 to 5 sq ft for music, dancing, food. Example: 5 x 100 = 500 + 1000 = 1500 sq ft

Fact 3: To see what size tents works for your needs, simply pace out the area. One large pace = approx 3í, so you need to figure 10 paces for a 30' wide tent.

Fact 4: You should also realize that unless this is a formal wedding or sit-down banquet, approximately 1/3 of the people will be stand-ing up or walking around. This allows you to cut your square footage by 1/3 and save money. All tents are priced from 60 cents to five dollars/sq ft with delivery and set-up charges dependent on island location and size of tent. Side curtains cost $1/linear ft. Tents can be set up a day early to allow for decoration, etc.

Basic tent, clean, white, not brand new $.60/sq ft

Wedding white, new or clear $1/sq ft

Wedding tent + lining $2/sq ft

Wedding tent + lining + lighting $3/sq ft

Wedding tent + lining + lighting + stage/dancefloor $5/sq ft

Accessories:

Staging $2/sq ft

Dance Floor (black & white wood) $2/sq ft

Lighting is available on a request basis and ranges from minimal to elaborate.
